404.bd ("we", "this site") is a collection of free, browser-based developer tools. This page explains what data we do and don't collect.

Your tool data never leaves your browser

All tools on this site (JSON formatter, JWT decoder, Base64 encoder, regex tester, hash generator, and the rest) run entirely client-side in your browser. Whatever you paste or type into a tool — code, tokens, text, anything — is processed on your device and is never sent to, stored on, or seen by our servers. You can verify this yourself in your browser's network inspector.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — things like which tools are popular, what countries visitors come from, and what devices they use. This involves cookies and collects anonymized usage data such as pages visited, approximate location, browser type, and session duration. We do not collect names, emails, or any content you enter into the tools. You can learn how Google processes this data at policies.google.com/privacy, and you can block analytics with any standard content blocker without affecting how the tools work.

Advertising

We may display advertisements served by Google AdSense to keep the site free. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com. We do not choose, endorse, or have access to data collected by ad providers.

Private areas

The /fifa section is a private score-tracking feature for invited friends and is not part of the public site. It stores only the display names and game scores its participants enter.
